Home Remedies for Arthritis Pain

Homemade Arthritis Pain Relief

We shall not advise you to avoid holding one position for a long times, to exercise more or to offer you such "empty" advices. I'm sure you already know that. We want to share with you some of the recipes for homemade remedies, creams and salves for arthritis. The main catch is that you need to balance the pH levels of the body. Arthritis and certain inflammatory diseases are caused by high acidity levels.

Homemade Remedies, Salves and Creams

Most of these tips we received from our readers. If you have your "alternative therapy" that works, please send it and we will share it with others. Maybe you can help someone else!

Given that self-hypnosis is widely available over the internet, you should be careful what you download. Not all hypnosis is the same. You should know which hypnotherapists were involved in the project. Below are listed only proven sessions that we collected from highly respected hypnotherapists:

apple cider vinegar Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple Cider Vinegar is used as an anti-bacterial skin cleanser and also regulates the skin's pH balance. It is also known for its richness of minerals, including calcium, magnesium, potassium, and phosphorus, and therefore it is useful in relieving joint pain. The recipe is very simple: Mix one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar with a cup of warm water. Sweeten with honey instead of sugar and drink the juice every morning.

homemade arthritis salve Homemade Cayenne Salve

For this simple salve you’ll need:

- 1/2 cup olive or any other oil
- About 15 grams of cayenne powder
- 1/2 cup of grated beeswax
- A double boiler (optionally you can use two different size pots. Just stack the smaller pot on top of the larger pot)
- A glass jar with a tightly fitting lid.

Mix together oil of choice with cayenne powder and heat in a double boiler for about 10 minutes over medium heat. After it’s warmed, turn off the heat, add beeswax into the mixture and let it melt. Mix well until everything is smoothly blended together. Place a pea-sized amount of the mixture in refrigerator for a few minutes, just to test for the consistency. Add more beeswax if not firm enough or add more oil if too firm. Put it in a glass jar with a tightly fitting lid. Store the salve in the refrigerator.

If you want to get a nice scented salve, you can add a bit of coconut oil at the end of the process.

Note: Avoid any contact with your eyes. It will burn!

himalayan salt Himalayan Salt

Known in the Himalayas as “white gold”, Himalayan Crystal Salt contains the same 84 natural minerals and elements found in the human body. Studies show that for each gram of table salt your system cannot process, your body will use over twenty times the amount of cellular water to neutralize the sodium chloride in chemically-treated salt. This can lead to rheumatism, arthritis, gout and many other disorders. Choosing to use Himalayan Salt as an alternative can have a big impact on your total health and well-being. Some of the health benefits of using natural Himalayan Crystal Salt include:

- Controlling the water levels within the body
- Promoting stable pH balance in the cells
- Aiding in reducing the common signs of aging
- Encouraging excellent blood sugar health
- Increasing bone strength ... and more

We recommend only original Himalayan Crystal Salt.

ginger Ginger

Ginger has natural anti-inflammatory properties, so it can be very useful in treating arthritis. You can use ginger oil (should be applied on the affected area to reduce pain, inflammation and stiffness), dry ginger (see below) or you can eat raw ginger on a regular basis. If you have dry ginger, make a mixture of 1 spoon of dried ginger, 1 spoon of caraway seeds and 1/2 spoon of black pepper. Take half a teaspoon three times a day, mixed with water. You can also buy ginger tea. It's pretty cheap.
